well, i finally bought a car.
 

against all my issues with buying a new car, i went and did it. i knew i shouldnt have test driven it, but damn, it was tempting and i was sold. i had the coin, and i needed a new car. my last rig, i beat for almost 12 years. i pick up a new metropolitan grey Mazdaspeed3 tomorrow night! i plan on keeping my beater pickup for hunting/fishing/houserepair duties. i just need to change the heater core, find a clunk in the front end, and find out why it idles fast on re-start. that poor truck...

I was going to buy a Mazdaspeed 3 also, however the local Mazda dealer was an idiot. They worked hard to not sell me a car, didnt return phone calls etc..

I would love a Mazda speed but unfortunatly my current Mazda Protege5 with 221,000km just refuses to die, Damn Mazda!
