Mike, best wishes from here...

Had the same thing a couple years ago. Not bad. Hard to sleep the first night (nose packed full of packing)
And the sinusitis was history. Very, very worth it. Prayers to you both. I know, when it's your kid... |

Tell him we're all pulling for him. Let us know how it works out.

To have the recuperative powers of a child. It will be tougher on you than him. Thoughts your way.

The procedure - a FESS went longer than expected but without complications. It took a good hour for him to wake from the gas and when he did he was pretty loopy. We got him home and he slept for 6 hours.
He is still light headed, foggy he says which is to be expected. Funny thing, one of his little buddys came over today. He said that when they were at recess, the boys were sitting on a bench and one siad "This just doesn't seem right without Max." That was about the best thing a parent could hear from another kid. |
lube, will be thinking of him. i get sinusitis/bronchitis really badly every year from the pollen..in fact on antibiotics for it right now.
|
He's about 100% now but the Doc said no physical activity for 2 weeks - tough thing for a little monkey!
We went on a long run in the targa today to lift his spirits. It did the trick. Great roads in Copper Canyon, Double Oak and on to Corinth. |
You are one heck of a good father, Mike.
