How come no one is talking about the stock market?

When it was dropping all we heard was gloom and doom from the media. Yesterday it went over 13,000 and you had to look hard to find any news about it.

My stock pick (masi) is back up and climbing. It was an IPO in August, and some principals in the company did some big selloffs in February making the stock drop. But they had a great 1st quarter report and are back on track."C'mon Seabiscuit!!!"

It does not fit the story line, or the agenda.

So many of the "experts" on the financial news have their agenda, as in being short and talking down a stock or sector.

Many make their money with volitility so the more unsettled the market the more opportunity for them.

Good news does not sell.

Shhhh....

I figured it simply doesn't like to be "talked about" and don't want to pi$$ it off again :)

Ride it while you can. It's the newest bubble.

AAPL up to $180 a share again? GOOG up over $600 again?

Two words gents: "not sustainable".

Get in & out while you can.

There are 2 trends the media won't cover:

1) Stock prices increasing; and

2) Global temperatures decreasing.

What's to get excited about? Index fund year-to-date returns are still in negative territory. It will be interesting if they ever go sufficiently positive this year to offset the real inflation that is now ongoing.
