Where to purchase iphone??
 
Is there any reliable place to purchase an iphone other than Apple and ATT, obviously I am looking for price less than the going rate of $399 and want new, not used. Haven't looked at reconditioned from Apple yet. Really don't want to do ebay and from looking there, not much of a savings. It will be used domestically.

Does it make sense to wait a few months for new development in technology, every time I buy a phone or computer two weeks later they come out with the new shlt, very frustrating. And most always at the same price.

So yeah, wait for the new-improved. ....not to suggest that the current iphone has Any shortcomings. We all know it is perfection.:D

You won't find the product cheaper, at least not demonstrably cheaper, from another source.

If you do it will be a refurb or clearance item when the new line comes out.

Wait for the new phone with version 2.0 of the OS.

I'd hold out. I'd also hold out for an unlocked one.

"Unlocked" meaning that it could be used w/other carriers such as VerizonW and Sprint?

GSM carriers only.

Verizon is still CDMA

Definitely wait.

Their next generation phone is 30-45 days out. Also, they will be dropping the price when the new phones come out.
