Tabs, Rome and England's carnivorous actions were due in large part to their imperialist aspirations. Do you believe that being a superpower necesarily incorporates imperialism into the nature of a country? If not could the US temper its violent actions/reactions and still retain its superpower rank?
The listed moral infractions during WWII were in response to a very real threat to not just the US's allies but to the existing world order and the existance of the US. Do you believe that the terrorist threat (to the world and the US) is as real and present today as the axis was in 1941 and that it justifies our response?
