I wonder if it's difficult to make an unreliable shoe?

It isn't often you have to call the boss;
"Sorry I'm going to be late this morning, the Cesare Paciotti boots won't start"
"Really? have you checked the welt stitching?"

OR

"I need to leave early I need to take the Gucci loafers in for a service"
"OK, but you'll have to take me to lunch in those next week"

Maybe the correct phrase should have been "more reliable".
