How can I stop a large e-mail that is choking my Outlook??
I tried to send an e-mail with a large attachment. My Outlook seems to be choking on it. It stays in my out box, but won't transmit. When I go to my outbox, I see it sitting there (holding up all my other outgoing e-mail).
I click on it to try to open it, but it won't because it says it is in the process of sending it. I do a right click on it, and go down to "delete" but that doesn't do anything. I've tried turning the computer on and off, it won't go away! |
I would try going down to the bottom right of the outlook screen where itg displays the word "Connected", right click on it, and select "work offline." Then try again.
|
Try moving it to the "Drafts" folder and then deleting it.

thanks - I just tried moving it over to drafts, it won't move!

I don't see the "connected" thing anywhere.

pull your network cable
that way it can't establish a connection to start sending it will time out then delete the message from outbox when done install thunderbird and ditch outlook |
Thanks stijn, that did it!
