Robert Mondavi
Opened a long held '96 Mondavi Reserve Cab tonight to toast a real pioneer.
It was superb. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iLeyD9cvLCrW_-aC3bDsk0jIv46QD90N30CG0 Thanks, and rest in peace, Bob. Tim |

God speed, Robert Mondavi. The glass of California cabernet I'm enjoying right now, though not yours, probably wouldn't be sitting here right now if weren't for you. Thank you.

A lot of wines were consumed tonight - I certainly owe a great portion of my interest in wine to Robert Mondavi. Godspeed.

Sipping on a Rosemount GSM right now, which is a personanl fave...... Had I known, I would have reached for a Mondavi as well.
the mondavi reserves are great! I have pulled the cork out of many Mondavi's over the years, never been dissapointed. Sounds like he lived a good long life............ Cheers

Mondavi had (has?) the best wine tour, by far, in the Napa Valley.
