Here are some shots, I hope, of the trip. Great place to visit, great food, GREAT weather, NO rain in May. A little expensive, more than eating out around here in Dana Point or Newport but still nice.

I been there..about 15 years ago now...bought a 4 volume set opf Thomas Jeffersons works published in 1829. Orginally belonged to a minor historical figure.
Take a good look at the Lodge. It was built by an owner of a ship yard. The inside of the house is laid out like a ships deck with cabin. Also all the glass, door knobs are all ship fittings.

The guys name was Moran and he started this home in 1904, it was turned into a hotel I think in the 60s.

They also added on a wing...
It was a bit run down when I was there. Howeever my room was right over the water.
