Ever find anything unusual in your porsche or other cars?

Have you ever found anything unusual in your porsche or other cars? Including comical repairs.
I found a craftman wrench ontop of the engine under the cis but it was cut in half, bent 90 degrees and shaved down. I exchanged it for a brand new one
I also found a german penny in the tunnel up by the pedals im sure it was there from the factory i left it in there.

Found a $100 bill under the carpet on the passengers side. Must have been there a long time from a PO. Glued to the floor pan.

My first Porsche was a 1980 928 bought from a guy in LA who brought it over gray market from Germany. It was owned by the police commissioner of East Berlin. I was cleaning the back seat area one day and found a jewelry box under the driver's seat stuffed with various men's & women's watches. They didn't look valuable, so I tossed them after a few years. Under the rear seats I found a whole load of German coins.

I bought an F150 cheap from a guy who was convinced it had terminal (no pun intended) electrical problems. I bought it sitting in a shop bay. It had lots of stuff inside... several dollars worth of loose change, various tools, CDs, a loaded 22 cal clip, and a crack pipe. BTW, it cost <$100 to fix the truck.

I had a 1st generation Mazda RX7 in college that had a strange rolling/rattle sound in the back. Never could track it down. After a couple of years of ownership I was changing a tail light when and noticed there was a metal box of sorts around the hatchback locking mechanism. Something told me to stick my hands inside. I did and I pulled out a golf ball.

When I was in college (and dirt poor), I bought a 1985 Toyota Celica. The car ran great, was in decent shape and came with something I will never forget.

I lived in Mass, and it was during a particularly cold week that I bought the car. The owner apologized for not cleaning it out, but it was just too cold.

Anyway, I get it to my parents house and start cleaning. When the car interior warmed up from the heater and being in a garage this smell starts to eminate...

Turns out that a frozen baby diaper had thawed and was stuck to the carpet. That and about 4 bags of fast food.....

After cleaning and deodarizing the car was great..

Mud divers nest in the glove box, leaves and acorns in the carbs, and pliers under the driver seat. Made in Germany.

I found a 10 mm Mac wrench in the fan shroud of my sirocco. My 912 had a bag of pills and half a joint tucked up under the dash, thank god I never got pulled over for the year or two I drove it before I found it. it also had a Toyota stereo in it with Beggars Banquet permanently stuck in it, but playable.

How about the original service booklet, sale papers, and warranty card for the after market Artic Kar kit the dealer put in? All still in the glove box, 41 years after purchase. Which is weird, since Dad was usually retentive about filing stuff like that in a Good Place....

- a very nice Snap-On screwdriver under the seat passenger seat
- a baby blanket under the drivers seat
- a large quantity of change in the door pocket
- a huge blob of expanding foam in the body (poor mans bondo)

This has nothing to do with a Porshe but, back in the days when I worked at a dealership a guy brings in a Honda Accord hatchback. Car seems a bit beat on the outside and probably has never been washed. I walk up and notice that the entire interior, bar the driver's seat, is full to the window ledges with newspapers, magazines, opened mail, used food and drink containers, you name it. Literally full, as in you can't even open the other door, or sit anywhere else in the car.

Get the car checked in, hand it off to a mechanic, he works on it for a while, then comes to see me. The car also has fleas. Now my technician has fleas. Things went downhill from there....

We were test driving a used M3 and I found a bottle of Burberry cologne in the backseat. I went to the store and compared...it was the real deal.

Father in Law of the guy I bought my 911 from left his sunglasses in the glovebox. Giant gold rimmed 70's aviators.
