Do 'ghosts' exist?
Anyone believe in ghost? Any unexplained experiences?
I, for one, is somewhat a scientific person: if I can't seen it, screw it. But man, sometimes you just can't discount weird stuff. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/men_ani.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/men_ani.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/witch1.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/men_ani.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo.../coffeecup.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/devil.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/vuur.gif[img] |

Get a cat. Watch. You will believe. There is stuff out there that we can not see. |

By 'ghost' I assume you mean a 'spirit' of a dead person?
There are none. The demons, however, would like you to believe they are 'them'. KT |

I never believed in ghosts.
A year ago I stayed, unknowingly, in a *haunted* hotel on Okinawa. The locals refuse to stay there cause it's built on land where horrible war atrocities were committed. I didn't like the idea but hey, I didn't pick the place, and it's a damn nice place at that. One of my co-workers is Mormon, and he came down on the second night all freaked out about someone being in the room with him... I slept like a baby the entire week. I still don't believe in ghosts. The dead are, well...dead. |

It's not paranoia if they're really out to get you. . . ;)
|
Just like the "Clairvoyance" thread before, lots of talk about paranormal stuff and the "mystery of the unknown", yet no proof. One would think with all of these experiences there would be at least some piece of evidence.
The James Randi $1M prize also stands for "ghosts" too, I believe. No excuses; prove your ghosts and take your prize. :) Best, |
Something exists. People are seeing something. I have my own private beliefs on the matter, but I won't bore you with them here.
Suffice to say that my 2nd book contract is a travel guide to haunted places in New England... |

I've added emphasis in bold.

If your beliefs are private, then of course you don't have to share them. But do not be afraid of boring us - this is PPOT, yes? :) Among many other things, I've wondered why some folks report having never seen ghosts and some folks claim to have seen many. Is there a need to believe to make them detectable? Best, |

So, explain this: 1. My kid tells me someone was standing by a corner of my house. She says, "I think there is a ghost here." Dad replies, "there is no such thing!" 2. A new teenage friend of hers would show up, and the new friend would say, "Hey, I think of saw someone standing by that side of your house!" My daughter says, "Oh, that is my Dad's Guardian Angel." They both laughed. 3. A few months later, my daughter acquires a new teenage friend, and says, "Hey, someone was there and now it is gone!" My daughter repeats, "Oh, that is my Dad's Guardian Angel." 4. The cycle starts all over again. Now, with due respect to these teenagers, they do not do drugs (so I think), educated, no alcohol, and same topic comes out of the blue. As for my own experiences, well.... we can discuss later. |
