Hello,
Who can tell me the cost (approximatively) to send a car from Portland Oregon to Brussels Belgium? |

Years ago I saw a show that shipped a corvette to Europe. They said it was approximately the same cost as the space required for first class seats. So let's assume six seats at $6K per one way ticket, so about $36,000 sounds in the ballpark - probably more than $25K and less than $50K.
BTW, there no non-stop flight from PDX To BRU. So the car will have to be transferred between planes in Chicago or New York, likely. There are specialist car airfreight transporters for high-value cars. Can I ask what you want to ship? An RS maybe?

I know Lufthansa does that quite a bit. I've seen a number of show cars come out of their airplanes in LAX.

Looks interesting and it seems to be in the correct average cost.
Will keep posting if I buy the car ;-) |

Putting the car on a RoRo is not that much but the car is shipped in the open on the ship. Could be under deck or not. As well everytime I shipped a car this way something was stolen from or off of the car.
When I was buying/selling cars overseas we would put one or two of them in a container and just ship the whole container overseas. This method is a lot safer as long as the car is secured in the container very well.
