Looking forward to meeting you Austinites!
 

Many of the local Pelicans in the Pacific Northwest already know, but I thought I would also let the rest of you know that I am on my way to Austin Texas. I should be leaving Seattle on the 7th of June and arriving in Austin around the 12th of June.

I am really looking forward to meeting fellow Pelicans that live in the area. I am hopeful that things will be active down there, just as they are here in the Pacific Northwest.

And we're looking forward to it as well.;)

You "Austinites" take good care of our Scooter - we want him back when you're done. Just no goofy hats or boots, o.k.?

krichard, I will be out by Lake Travis.

Used to be a killer bar/restaurant there. Was built into the side of the cliff overlooking the lake.

Burnt down a few years ago IIRC.

That would be the Oasis. They rebuilt and now it is HUGE!!! I understand the food is better than it used to be. A great place to see the sunset. I will be frequenting that location a lot in the near future. ;)
