BMW Shop in Portland, OR??
Hey guys, I need some help! I have a friend that I have known for years that is now living in the Portland, OR area. She has a 1995 BMW 540i / 6 speed that she purchased new in 1995, and is in need of a good wrench type person in the Portland area.
This is a well cared for car that now still only has about 75K miles on it, and she is having some upkeep issues. A local dealer is throwing a huge list of needed repairs at her, and she is feeling like someone may be trying to take advantage of her. If you can point me to some good independents in the area that specialize in BMers, i would be very grateful..

Don't Marque Motors (in Johns Landing) and Stuttgart Autotech (Lake Oswego) also do BMWs, in addition to Porsches?

Probably...but I didn't use either of this shops. Don't consider this a negative on them, just an I don't know because I never went there. They could be very good...

Any of those three shops should do ok for you. Over the years, I have used all three of them for P-car work and they are honest and fair. There are several BMW only shops in the area also. I would contact the BMW club in Portland for their recommendations.

A better answer: Jozsi's Import Car Repair. Phone is 503 297 dash 3281. Joszi used to work for Rasmussen and then opend his own shop. I take my old 325 there, as well as do all of my friends with BMW's. Honest, efficient, and CHEAP.
They are located in Beaverton. Larry |
