Carrier, the series. Awesome.
 

I am SO hooked on the documentary series Carrier. If I am not mistaken, this is an A&E series that has appeared on PBS over the past year. If you have Netflix, you can either stream it to your computer using 'Watch it now' (thats what I do), or order the DVDs. I'm not exactly some big pro-military guy, but this is an excellent series. Episode 4 and I am beaucoup hooked.

Gritty, shows the blue collar background of many folks coming into the Navy. But also show that those that chose to work and rise above advance. Well done.

I tried to find the program to record on TiVo, but couldn't. Will try again tonight. I've heard of this series, sounds good.

Damn TiVo recorded some hour-long ginsu knife infommercial instead of the Monaco F1. I'm unhappy.

A&E and PBS aren't on the list of channels I flip through.

Sounds like something I'd like, but I don't watch TV that much.

More of the human drama than I imagined - but it is very real. Puts "reality TV" to shame.
