Negotiation
On general principle I think negotiation is a usefull tool or weapon if you will of achieving your ends. Even if one talks endlessly about nothing as the PRNK manual of Diplomacy instructs, it is still usefull to your ends. That is where GW went wrong, he threw away a usefull chip in the game on misguided principle. Why didn't GW just say the USA isn't going to be using its aircraft carriers to assert its military power. It amounts to about the same thing.
Now from there one can start to discuss specfic applications of its use. |
You spelled "useful" wrong three times in the same post.

Specific applications of air craft carriers?

Joe, do you have an export license for all that equipment?

Dubya is a simple man. The maximum number of strategies and tactics he can successfully track and manage is......ONE. That's the maximum. Bombing and diplomacy at the same time.......that's way too complex.

Diplomacy makes for boring TV.
