On the other hand, my wife of 32 years just shakes her head at my naievty. There have been a couple of times when she has pointed out that women were hitting on me. (she happened to be in earshot.)

She says she doesn't worry about me when I'm away as not too many women are as direct as she is.

Here's a weird tale my wife told me the other night. Neighbors (H&W) down the street had a party. Other neighbors (H&W) from the other end of the street visit the party. Husband host hugs wife guest as a hello. (He's a friendly guy). Husband guest gets mad about this and punches a hole in the Host's wall. Bunch o years back we did BMX XXX.

We licensed Scores as a venue in the game.

As you earned money in the game you could go to Scores for a strip show. The in game stripping was live footage, not computer modeled.

Spent a few days there filming the girls.

Fast forward to the launch party and natch we have it at Scores.

One of the girls latches onto me for the evening. Odd thing is she looks just like my wife to the point that numerous people including our CEO came over and said hello to her addressing her as my wife.

So the dilemma I faced as I drove home was do I tell my wife, "hey honey you are definitely hot, a bunch of people at the party thought the stripper I was hanging with was you".

To which she would have responded, " wtf are you doing hanging out with a stripper so much that people think it's me?"

I did tell her the next day and she laughed.

You could of also just went with it (the hit that is) and cried victim of sexual abuse. You'd get sex, money, power and maybe you wife would understand too - maybe not.

In my experience, the only time you get through your wife finding out about you getting hit on unscathed is when she witnessed the actual act.

That said, I probably would have done exactly what you did, Mike. I also probably would have added: "If you're so mad at me for turning her down, should I have said yes?"

Actually in the past when I have had "overly" friendly females around - my wife will ask - "did you sleep with her"

my response has always been - of course not honey - and you would know because she would be dropping by to see me, calling me all the time, couldn't get enough of Mr. Johnson - just like you were......
