Has anyone been watching Scott McClellan's talk show tour?
I stumbled upon Wolf Blitzer's interview of Scott McClellan today and it was quite a good watch. I don't think Wolf threw softballs at all. In fact, he even played a clip of a McClellan press conference the day after 60 Min. ran the story on Richard Clarke, where McClellan wondered out loud why Clarke had remained silent all those years and then spoke out as soon as he had a chance to cash in with a tell-all book. And to McClellan's credit, he performed 100x better in this interview than he ever did as WH press sec. He was forceful, articulate, confident and almost convincing. He dodged a few questions and really danced around when Wolf tried to press him on whether he felt he owned the American people an apology. Anyway, if Wolf Blitzer was able to get this kind of drama on his show, I can't wait to watch Russert go to town on McClellan on Sunday. Should be good tv. I have to wonder, though, whether McClellan's publisher has got Scott some PR/tv coaching. It was hard to believe this was the same stuttering, unconfident dolt we saw in the WH press briefings. Two totally different people.

If what McClellan says is true (and I would not be surprised if much of it is)
