Truly a great man gone.

not too many guitarists have a beat named after them: tell a bunch of musicians to play on a Bo Diddly Beat and they know what you are talking about. he was awesome. Anyone remember his cameo in Spinal Tap?

R.I.P. Bo

I only caught him once many years ago...I was impressed. RIP Bo...

Bo Diddley was the feature band at our Princeton University's Senior Prom in 1966.

I have got to say that he was the hardest driving musician I even heard then, and ever since. Dancing to his music was pulsating, driving, scintillating, etc. Whnen he played you danced, and you understood his beat.

Luckily I still have his music on records (remember 33-13? RPM records?).
