It's cruel to kill and eat vegetables; they have feelings too. |
I like most veggies, and I'll do mustard, ketchup, and/or salad dressing, but I also don't like raw tomatos. I've tried them, and I don't puke if I get a burger that's got some on it, but I don't like them.
I don't each much eggplant. My favorite eggplant and the only one that I ever order is Bengan Bhartha (Indian food). I don't do gravy much, maybe home made brown gravy, but I don't like it thick. I just want the juice from cooking meat. I especially don't do white gravy, blech. |
BLT with home grown tomatoes, yummy, best thing in the freakin' world, eat them every day, all summer long.
Only way I will eat broccoli is raw in a pasta salad. I like the 10 minute throw down based on italian salad dressing, quite good with black olives, a little rotini and maybe some julienne raw carrots and zucchini, oh and some artichoke hearts, man, this is making me hungry. I will not eat brussel sprouts, not enough cheese in the world to hide those. I literally vomited when forced to "try" the evil things. Not much on eggplant. I like eggplant parmesan, but I like cheese. |
I agree, Dan.
I do not have any particular aversion to veggies, but I am not that fond of it either. I regard it mostly as decorations on the plate and table. Kind of meaningless I suppose. I rarely eat it. Sure there are vitamins and minerals in it, but IŽll risk it. I am pretty confident there are sufficient numbers in the rest of the food I eat. Come to think of it - how do people on the north and south end of the planet survive? The Eskimos for example. How much of veggies can they grow (historically)? They still grow old and are apparently as healthy as the rest of us. |
