God ...I pity you poor bassturds that live in those delightful cities!

Love thy neighbor!:)

I'll have what she's having!

Tobra 06-06-2008 09:53 PM

You mean the LC?(Loser Cruiser)

My time is too valuable to waste on the crappy system here, it would take forever to get to the hospital. When I was in a position to use it as a student, I had a mountain bike instead, and could get a lot of places quicker than you could in a car in SF.

I want a plug in hybrid.

In DC it's cheaper to drive and pay for parking than to take the Metro. And it's usually faster too. I hate everyone anyway, especially the unwashed masses.

I like most subways/light rail pretty well. SF BART, DC Metro, Boston, London, are all fine. Paris is great. NYC is just tolerable. Portland is good though limited. Etc

You do get some, ahem, "human theater". Very occasionally. But I'm not frightened of it, I guess some are.

I saw both Elvis and Jesus in the same day on the Max. Very entertaining.

She is rather entertaining. Subway in Tokyo on the other hand is a ho hum, steril and very predictable affair.

For me it's the scumbag/lowlife factor.

I'm too old for that stupidity.

Trust me, with close to 40 years of riding the NYC subway, that is not some thing you will see everyday. it's usually dirty smelly lowlifes begging for money or touching themselves.

svandamme 06-07-2008 05:24 AM

yeah, i know, i've ridden NYC subway :D

JayG 06-07-2008 05:31 AM

The original post was a schizo girl down here on Marta. Anytime I take it, (like once a year to a Braves game) I'm carrying.

sammyg2 06-07-2008 05:57 AM

I'd rather stay home that be around people like that. She needs to be put out of everyone's misery.

Mule 06-07-2008 06:44 AM

Hey bra, she got her rights!

scottmandue 06-07-2008 07:26 AM

The three times I have worked in Boston I didn't rent a car and used there mass transit to get everywhere, I loved it. If you don't mind walking a few blocks you can get almost anywhere in the city for under a buck.

If there were a train near where I live to near where work I would use it.
