I settled on the 2008 Speedmachine 6.0 Rollerblades, with 90mm wheels. With a carbonfiber and kevlar shell, I feel confident that my feet will survive any bullets fired at them. I have a consistent 20 minute, 5 mile loop. It took me 19 minutes today and I was not pushing at 100%. Looks like I may have to go 10 miles a day. |
i'll snap a pic later of my old bauers.....haven't used them in years, and when i did it was destructive, which is why they're priced at $5 for my moving sale :D

How old were the bearings in the old wheels, I bet they have a lot of resistance and might have slowed you down a bit.
