Unbelievable! Great film. Hard to imagine that China is dropping the ball with education. All that newfound wealth cannot work any magic without an educated population. I'm guessing they will figure this out before it becomes a crisis. Fascinating place.

Chapter 2 is amazing. It chronicles the protest that led up to the massacre. The courage of the residents is quite amazing. They stopped 300K troops by just flooding the streets with people to block the entry of the vehicles. Then they would stand and talk to the soldiers and tell them they were doing the wrong thing.

Can you imagine 10% of your city's population on the streets in protest?

There are a ton of lessons here. On many levels.
