Doesn't he have the sign out front still? Maybe he changed his mind, I haven't talked to him about it for a while.

I see the sign but I thought that was for some other property around the airport not the hangars. I should get my Dad to buy them, he is out there more than I am, would give him something to do. Hell I may look into it, more storage for me:D

No, it's the hangers. He wanted to build another row like the ones you're in but money is tight right now, so.....

You do what you gotta do!

I know nothing about planes - is that a new-ish plane made to look like an old one, or is it really an antique?

Also, in a single engine propeller plane, if the engine conks out, is it easy to glide the plane down to a landing, if you can find a large field or something? Is that something an average pilot would be expected to be able to do?

Its a replica I built back in the 80's

Every landing is pretty much an "engine conked out" situation, you should always have an area picked out to land should something happen, I can get it in some pretty tight areas, If I had to you could drop it in a football field

Those are 15x7 cookie cutters still on from my last autox, I normally run my 15x6 fuchs, still have to swap the seat and wheels.

Cool, I'll have my eyes in the sky when I'm home visiting family next month. Mom lives in Caledonia at 100th st and the Thornapple river.SmileWavy
