Manhattan about to be sued - big time!

Larry Oblorgowski, of lower Manhattan, a long time beer connaisseur with the requisite belly associated with that passion, nearly had his eye put out while picking up the can of beer he'd dropped on the floor in front of him.

While fully bent over, reaching to retrieve his beer, Oblorgowski's brand new tailored dress shirt yielded to the strain imposed on it at the apex of his afformentioned belly, popping a button and sending it with explosive force into his right eye, causing grievous pain and a prolonged period of double vision. "Besides the grievous pain, for two days the double vision kept causing me to reach for the wrong beer. It was very emotionally disturbing. I guess I was lucky, though; the beer can landed on my wing-tip. If I'd been wearing my thongs I'd probably have a broken toe also" Oblorgowski told reporters.

Oblorgowski has retained counsel and is suing Manhattan Clothing for $50,000.00.

You gotta feel sorry for the guy, he deserves a big settlement.
