Gun Question....

Anyone know how to correctly take off the fiberglass handguard on a M1a... my books cover everything but that....

Also, On Browning High Powers, what is the liability of removing the clip safety (you know which one I am talking about)...

there's a special tool to do that. (not saying that you're a tool nor speshul)

I would leave it alone or buy the pliers to do that

Re 'what is the liability of removing the clip safety', do you mean the downside?
It will decrease the trigger pull a bit but I consider that an improvement.

The only liability you might incur from removing your magazine safety from your P-35 is a legal one. If ever used in a shooting, a slick prosecution lawyer could construct a case questioning your lack of firearm safety concern and linking that to your lack of concern in shooting the victim. This is uncommon, but has happened.

I would take the chance and remove it.
