Looks like you're green with envy

If more of the greenies looked like Andrea Robinson, I might actually pay attention to them.

I'd say you need to look again.

At least they managed to pick the one hippie that actually understands personal hygiene.

LOL, enviro-tards mandating ridiculous things that don't exist. A perfect example of liberals are Idealistic but not realistic.

I forwarded this article to several of my clients and prospects about an hour ago and already got a response from the Denver Host Committee wanting to meet.

What a frightening glimpse into the future, should these folks gain power. This will quickly proceed from dubious "good ideas" into even more dubious law, all without a shred of evidence to support the "planet saving" affects of these rediculous measures.

Those USA union organic cotton fannie-packs had better also be fair-trade, shade-grown cotton or else the world will end due to manbearpig.

. . .wait . .. is manbearpig a union guy(bearpig)? How could they have him at the convention if he's not?

Mule 06-25-2008 11:02 AM

Must be, 'cause I hear MBP is going to introduce the nominee!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this.

Witness bans of trans fats, smoking, and foie gras.

Now that the ALA has gotten smoking banned just about everywhere, they are trying to get leaf-burning banned.

But Jeff, you're so short-sighted! Think of all the new jobs this will create!

Oh, and P.S.:

Won't someone think about the CHILDREN?

I know! Who do these hippies think they are? Im with you guys, they need to STFU, let capitalism reign, and run the show on Mexican labor, Chinese goods, and Saudi oil.

USA USA USA!

No, I prefer they continue trying to do the green thing. It will be a fiasco, they'll never be able to afford it, it will bust the city's budget for the convention, there will be countless stories about how vendors got around the bid specs or cheated and I'll laugh about it. I hope they don't change a thing.

Oh, I see, another one of the "can't do" Americans. How... inspiring.

The budget is already blown...our fine mayor is traveling hat in hand to get it covered.

What the hell does that mean? Why do people even bother looking for the most expensive and difficult way to do something just to be politically correct? I'd stick with market economics and capitalism, which I know goes against Dems' socialist leanings. Sort of reminds me of the Alaskan town that had to dump fish guts into its water supply to comply with EPA regs on purification, since its water was already too clean to get the EPA-mandated impurities out of it.

And I'm gonna do everything I can to get money out of him for my own commission check. Had a meeting with this folks two weeks ago and sent a proposal over. Don't worry though. I'm giving them a good deal.
