Steroscopic images (3d)
So I was doing some playing around and reading for a project over the weekend, and found some interesting stuff about steroscopic images (3d, the kind you view with the funky glasses).
Anyway, using just one souce picture and The Gimp, I was able to create this image. Came out pretty good, considering I had to shift the pixels to create a "left" and "right" eye image first... http://www.gruv.org/3d-356-1.jpg Thinking of trying to automate the merging of the 2 images, we've got a new building going up here at the college and I thought that a 3d stop motion movie of the whole thing from groundbreaking to final inspection may be interesting... |
