If you're the one leaning against the wall drinking a beer, no wonder it took a year.

The after shots were two months to the day after we started the demo.

Nice job! I like the "subway" tile on the wall and the granite tops. Looks good together. Did you do all the work yourself?

We just had a little girl that was born on the 27th of June. She was only a couple of days old. On the 5th she went into the hospital with a very high fever and stayed for 5 scary days. She's doing great now and is 1 year old!

Nice kitchen

I was still wrapping my head around moving here, changing careers completely, and having swamp-ass for the first time ever.

That would normally be my answer, but not today. Exactly one year ago, I was drinking coffee, recovering from the 4th festivities the night before, I'm sure of it

My wife, daughter, and I did all the demo our selves. I re-did all the window trim. The house originally had plaster (.75" thick) and we replaced it with .50" sheet rock. I closed off the inside entrance to the basement and made that area into a pantry. We hired people to do the floors, counter tops, tile, and electrical. I bet we saved our selves about $8000 by doing some of the work.
