I have a hard time doing 25 mph, 30 mph is fine no clutch push/pull back and forth.

John Warner does live in Alexandria, but he doesn't take the Metro to work. I doubt this suggestion has anything to do with lobbyist money, since he is retiring and will be out of office shortly. Ironically, Mark Warner will probably win his seat. I remember when Mark Warner ran against him in 1996 and the bumper stickers read, "Mark not John". John Warner is in his mid-80's and I doubt he drives anymore or has any idea what the average American experiences on the roads everyday.
