danica should not be in a race car....
 

so i was flipping through channels and was watching the indy race at the glen and during a pit danica patrick burned rubber for about 100 feet before losing control and almost taking out the entire target ganasi team...........there was no need to light up the tires for that long no matter how big of a hurry they were in........
today she almost killed a few guys........she would've if she hit the wall a few feet farther down.

rant off......

Would you rather have her in a big mother f..cker SUV, talking on the cell phone, kids screaming in the back..? :D

She has got to get better car control all together. Even noticed when she was on the pit exit lane, she was almost out of control. I'd say the Ganassi boys were extremely lucky.

And what about the Dixon boy losing it trying to warm up his fronts?

That must have been the only part of the race I missed.

WTF happened during that last big caution? I've never seen anything like that.

I feel bad for #34. He was doing well at Richmond last week and crashed and crashed this week as well.

I happened to turn it on at that instant. The Ganasi guys were not impressed.

I'm sure she can drive better than any of you guys. If she wasn't a female you wouldn't be saying this about her. She paid her dues and earned the right to drive an Indy car. It wasn't her fault, the Ganasi guys shouldn't have been in the pit.

Blah blah blah. Maybe when she finally kills someone the powers-that-be will finally admit she's just a publicity stunt.

Did you catch the guy who kicked her wing back towards her just before he went back over the wall? Not impressed at all.

I just watched the race on dvr - how many incidents in the final 20 laps? How many under yellow! 2nd place spins out under yellow? Ugh.

I thought the entire race was pretty sloppy!

I believe this is the second problem she's had in the pit lane this year. She needs to work on that.
Having said that, IMO Danica is under a huge microscope because she is female. There have been others who have had bad safety records that are slapped on the wrist and sent back out. Paul Tracey for starters. Also, Mario Andretti either crashed or won but very few in between. What about the move EJ Viso made today running someone off the track?

I'm no Danica fan, but her accident was no dumber than most of the others in the race. the F1 boys didnt fare much better.

I've seen lot's of dumb moves on the track and in the pits by many race car drivers over the years.
Danica has proven herself on the track for several years now.
The folks that run Indy cars will take whatever action is necessary to investigate this incident as well as some of the others today. Like the 2 collisions while following the pace car under yellow.
I've seen worse over the years by drivers that have won championships both in America and in that holy grail called F1.
Calling out Danica for one incident smells of sexism to me.
Many of the female drivers over the years have been little more than pubicity stunts.
Danica, like Shirley Muldowney and Ashley Force have earned their place on the track.
Get used to it.

Maybe inferior compared to your driving skills but the ones at the end of the pack can still run circles around me.
