I should clarify; I am not saying that we ban Mule. I personally find him rather entertaining. Just taking an opinion poll and I think that it would foster some interesting discussion on what is apporiate behavior and what is not on a private forum. I am a guest here and in no position to ban or not ban anyone that is up to the host.

I am enjoying him in the F1 threads and he is being really cool.

As far as politics threads that your decision I rarely look at them.

I like his perspective, and his complete lack of decorum and tact. He's pretty funny for a honkie as well. I'm assuming he's a honkie, but I don't know that for a fact.

Sometime his stuff is interesting. Its like a local comedy show. Some day's it good, some days its a mule.

Every time I see Alf's name here, I think of that commercial where they asked him his views on pornography. He replied, "I dunno. I don't even own a pornograph."

So, Alf; was it mules post about" Mysterious California Glaciers (gaining ice)" that put you over the edge?

AFAIK, all the people who have been banned share one characteristic, which was evident long before they were banned, and pretty much identified them as a likely future "bannee".

When they got involved in threads, the threads frequently deteriorated into insults and name-calling.

Yes, it takes two to squabble, but it was always notable that the "bannees" were always one of the two. The confrontational, goading, needling way they interact either starts an insult-fest, or provokes others to start one.

Its not that subtle, really - a troll is a troll.

Mule goes through phases of being more troll-like and less troll-like. He's currently in a slightly less troll-like period, in my opinion. But he's still my candidate as the most likely to eventually go over the edge and get banned.

He's my favorite poster....ban him and I quit ;-)

Get over it, he just p s ses off you lefties. And sometimes people from SoCal but we can get over it, why, because we know we are better. You lefties have a problem. You aren't.

I actually am spending significantly less time around here in part because I've grown tired of Mule's antics. To be frank, imho it brings this place down a big notch. There are extremists on both sides that sometimes go over the edge. But Mule consistently and repeatedly posts stuff that has no redeeming quality, no wit, and no humor. At least Tabs has a coherent point now and again. imho Mule exists solely to annoy others and generates a constant harangue. How many BO threads do we need? Evidently one more...

I count a great number of people here as friends even though I don't agree with all of them. But sometimes someone shows up at the local watering hole who is just so obnoxious, loud, mean-spirited and shrill that you eventually need to find another place to grab a drink.

Nope, but i do think that the global warming movement is a farce. (and I am not a fan of Gore, nor either Clintons nor am I a Democrat.)

It seems that, more often than not these days, the so called "tolerant" lefties are the least tolerant folk on Earth. I thought this thread was a joke when I first read it !
