Hopefully, this will bury Jesse Jackson once and for all.

Jesse Jackson is the second most bitter politician in the country. Right behind HIllary. Then he comes out with this stupid apology talking about how BO's message should deal with black males' responsibility blah, blah blah.

Quote:

My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility.
HUH!??!!

As if Bam Bam would be president of just african-americans. Sheesh! Hey JJ! Sometimes it isn't about race. Obama, if elected, would be president of the entire US, not just blacks!

Go away, you freak. Go shake down a Denny's for some hash browns and a cup of coffee.

It won't, Jesse is more powerful that Obama is. He's apologizing not to help himself, but so as to not hurt Obama...

jj news conf. at 5pm central.

Apparently it was to the effect that BO shouldn't be going to churches and telling them to take the higher ground in terms of morality. BO can't seem to win on religion - he distances himself from Wright only to come under fire for doing so by Jackson.

And Jesse is an upstanding man, with that illigitimate child of his and all. He DID pay child support, I'll give him that...but he was still an absent father.

He should win douche of the year for that!

Nathans_Dad 07-09-2008 02:44 PM

Just saw an excerpt, something to the effect of "Barack be talkin down to the black people".

Hugh R 07-09-2008 02:51 PM

He had an open microphone and apparently said "I'm going to cut his blank off). Presumably "nuts". BO was giving a speech and he mentioned black men need to take responsibility for the children they've fathered.

Jesse is old - glad to see his generation and all its baggage leaving the stage....

Mule 07-09-2008 05:52 PM

Jesse said he was going to cut his uh, "allowance" off. I think!

Mule 07-09-2008 07:14 PM

O'REILLY: 'We held back some of this conversation... we didn't feel it had any relevance to the conversation this evening. We are not out to get Jesse Jackson. We are not out to embarrass him and we are not out to make him look bad. If we were, we would have used what we had, which is more damaging than what you have heard'...

Every time I think there's nothing else JJ can do to lower his standing in the world, he does it. But then people still pay attention to him. I really think Ralph Nader deserves to be taken far more seriously than JJ. Who in the world admits to admiring this guy?
