It saddens me to admit how much better off I would be at this point had I just become a mailman or something like that. It makes my head hurt actually.

You don't have to be a postman to go postal. It is easier to explain, but is not required.

they dont get paid much right? my father in law is one...he hates it.

My brother and his g/f are both postal workers. Neither are rolling in dough. It is my understanding the retirement plan is pretty good, though.

good point...like ribs, retirement is better if you get there "slow and low". i bet the benefits rock!
