Lots of them have shown bad judgment -- maybe not as bad. It was certainly a controversial war ans she was quite young.

BUT... has she ever apologized for any of it? Or tried to explain/apologize or put in context/apologize?

I don't recall any thing like that. IF not, it's a pretty glaring failure.

I haven't felt the need to disagree with anything so strongly in a long, long time.

That POS did more to cause us to lose that war than any other person I can think of.
The damage she did undoubtedly contributed to many lost lives of US soldiers. How many were permanently maimed because of her assistance to the enemy? I'd like to see you face them and say that she wasn't that bad.

She was actively campaigning and fighting against our country at a time of war, aiding and abetting the enemy and helping them any way she could and what she did was nothing less than treason.
Pretending it wasn't or that she wasn't that bad is a great insult to all that brave soldiers who fought for our country.
I'd prefer to appreciate and respect their sacrifices than to insult them.

I'd piss on jane fonda unless she was on fire. Then I'd let her burn.

The fact that she was a reasonably attractive stripper 40 years ago means nothing except that she had a promising future as a 2 bit prostitute. Unfortunately she chose the vietcong as her customer but ended up screwing the United States of America.

In the first case I think he talking about American GI who did, in fact, desert to the N. Korean side and lived happily there for 50-odd years. He married a Japanese woman, perhaps one of the ones the N. Koreans kidnapped, and then was granted some kind of guarantee by the U.S. that he wouldn't be arrested when he traveled to Japan to see a dying relative.

In the second case, I have no idea what he's talking about.
