Doesn't 30 years in politics mean anything anymore?

Geez, McBush & Team are making some seriously junior mistakes.

1. Phil Graham, top McBush economic advisor: "Americans are whiners."

2. McBush: Graham doesn't speak for me on economic issues. Threw him under the bus big time! ouch!

3. McBush: "When I had to give up intelligence under torture, I named the starting defensive line of the Pittsburgh Steelers as my squadron mates." while giving an interview in Pittsburgh.

Page 194 of McBush's book, Faith of My Fathers, he says it was the offensive line of the Packers. It was also in the A&E TV movie as the Packers.

now Obama has made these mistakes, but he's been in public office for something like 30 minutes. But McBush & Co? I mean it's clear they have revamped the campaign to focus entirely on McBush's service in Vietnam, but to abuse it so badly that giving an interview in Pittsburgh he changes the team to the Steelers...that's truly sad.

I certainly expected a more polished, straight-talk express campaign and not these amateur mistakes.

McSame is still delusional from the Vietnamese torture. At least his old age won't be an issue.

When you guys are finished with the liberal circle jerk, can someone please wipe up and turn the lights off?

Guess Hussain is making so many stupid comments and decisions that you guys need to try to draw everyone's focus elsewhere but its not working...

Glen, you just need to slowly switch from kool-aid to scotch. Eventually you'll be fine. It takes a lot of scotch.

If that keeps you off of the kool-aid, sure, knock yourself out.

Phil Graham was largely correct in what he said, but rule number one in politics is to feel the people's (perceived) pain. So he's under the bus.

Rule number two is politics is local. So, like Obama, McCain will tweak his message for each of the 57 or 58 states.

I think Phil Gram was absolutely correct. And it wouldn't be a bad thing for most Americans to start hearing that we are a nation of whiners. It's the truth. It's also pretty scary that the definition of recession has been changed to being whatever the news media can convince sheeple of instead of two consecutive quaters of negative growth.

The Elites have come out to play where whiners = middle class Americans whose jobs have been shipped overseas, or if they still have one, are making the same as they were 4-5 years ago.

yeah, the economy is going great! why we haven't had a run on a bank since Bush I.

Republican Deregulation (see Graham) has caused Energy prices to soar and fomented the housing crisis.

yeah, that damn Middle Class, who do they think they are complaining about skyrocketing C-level pay while worker's salaries stagnate.

You Elites, why do you hate the Middle Class so much?

Bush is insignificant, a lame duck president since he took the oath of office.

His first official act was letting a bunch of his donor friends surface a submarine into a japanese tourist vessel. Then it was dog dropping, choking on pretzels, falling off of bicycles, garbling, walking into closed doors, etc.

Americans are a strong people and can weather this storm. Just let him pass and move onto a page of history.

Let's pretend something goes horribly wrong with the voting system again,
and Grandpa McCain gets elected.
It can't be all that bad, he has got to be hilarious to watch as he stumbles and mumbles around. I am sure his dementia will kick in full time during his presidency, with all the pressure. There will be plenty to laugh about.
His wife Paris has got to be a riot.
I don't even know if you guys will hear the laughter, you will be so busy rearranging the deck chairs.

The ship is sinking boys, "just let me fall out of the window with confetti in my hair"

Way too many Americans are whiners. Soft, lazy, irresponsible, mindless consuming whiners who are always on the take looking for something for nothing. The entitlement/welfare mentality is strong among way too many.

The government we have had for the last decade or so? Well, that's a different issue. They have been the worst, most irresponsible ever. This will not be changing any time soon, and in fact will get a lot worse before it gets better.

The two are not mutually exclusive, and we are in the unenviable position of having both.

Way too many? How many? who are they? Please quantify your fluff. Qualitative, "feel-good, I'm great, they all suck" posturing has no impact but reeks of basic talking point trash.

let's see some numbers and demo's.
