fuel pumps go on ALL cars...ever see how much a pump is for any newer diesel?

I looked at and drove the new Rabbit on my last repair visit to the local dealer. It seems like a nice car. For the money you get a lot. I'm waitomg for my van to be paid off then I'll lease a Rabbit. I'm hoping the new TDI will be out then too as it will replace my TDI Passat. I will not buy the new car as I'm still gun shy after my 05 GTI VR6.

Too late to get a new son?

Just kidding. It could be worse. He could be asking for a Jetta.

give us an update when you get to 70,000 miles

$1500 for a fuel pump? That is insane

My son has a 2002 Golf.....no problems other than it ate a battery and the low voltage made the immobilizer go off. New battery fixed it immediately. Good car....
