She would be standing next to me at the poles voting for the Libertarians, fighting to save this country one vote at a time.

Rand was pretty solidly anti religion.

Dependence on Foreign Oil....

(if the greenhouse effect doesnt get us ALL first)

Bin Laden has stated that his intent is to kill the Western Economy. It seems to be working right now...

The recipe for failure has many ingredients and we are perilously close to completing it.

Some of the ingredients:
Apathy
A government that exists for the sake of itself
The stripping of rights
Financial weakness (we are so weak now that if the populace knew how bad it was, that alone might cause collapse).
CEOs, Lawyers, and judges.
The loss of manufacturing
The inherent belief that your house is always worse more than what you paid
Americans living beyond their means.

There are more, but I am on a conference call and can't type anymore!

Let's see:

- not having kids, and the ones that are being had being raised poorly,

- phoney expectations beyond ability or willingness to work or even reality,

- growth and wealth building sapped by the wefare state and cost of government.

But I see all of the above as not killing the USA - just a further burden on the productive.

Bloat. I still don't really understand how a federal government that has exactly 26 rules to it manages to be as large, complex, and expensive as it is...
