I work for an IT company ( Online Business Systems ) based out of Winnipeg Manitoba. We are in the process of opening a Los Angeles office (though the office is virtual at this point). We are looking for good people who have IT experience. There are lots of careers paths with our company though we currently have a need for Business Intelligence and Call Centre specialists.

This is a LA opportunity but if the right person wants to travel, that can work too. If you are interested or know someone who is, please respond to this thread and we can take it from there.

What is the company looking for?

In terms of horizontals or "practices" we have business intelligence (cognos, microsoft, oracle/hyperion) and call centre work (Genesys, interactive voice response - IVR), integration / sevice oriented architecture.

In terms of industry we serve health care, justice, oil and gas among others.

The company is looking for people who want to be consultants and work in these areas and have an IT background. The background can be in roles such as a developer, business analyst, project manager, data modeler, data architect among others. The company size is 250 people with about 10 people working in LA at any given point in time.

Online Business Systems is a name used other than the name of the real products you will be asked to promote. The actual company is herbalife. With the "Online Business Systems" name useful information harder to find.

Short story: You will probably be asked to buy a "decision kit" for $38 or so, then you will be asked to spend $299, for an "international business package" (IBP), then you will be asked to spend $2,000 to accumulate "Value Points" to become a "supervisor".

Don't do it!
