No, I don't run an IT department. Again, I posted 3 different solutions, the most advanced of which was to copy and paste some very basic code and click save as. I didn't think copy and paste was too tough, clearly I overestimated this audience - my mistake. And no Preview won't allow you to resize a photo - that is unless you use the first method I posted which is to use Automator to call a Preview action that is not available in the GUI for some stupid reason.
