How about some interior and engine pics?

tchanson 07-22-2008 10:39 AM

Don't call it that....refer to it as a "narrow body 944" for more gruppe cred.

TerryBPP 07-22-2008 10:56 AM

Jesus, I thought you were a smart kid. ;)

BRPORSCHE 07-22-2008 11:16 AM

Oh trust me the 911 is much, much more pretty. But as an every day transportation that I didn't have to pay a cent for I am a very happy camper now. I just want to upgrade the wheels though. I can't stand phone dials. I think they are ugly.

Racerbvd 07-22-2008 11:16 AM

Feel free to tap what is left of my mind:D

BRPORSCHE 07-22-2008 11:29 AM

oh btw...I forgot to mention it only has 18,000 miles on it.

Probably only went though 6 timing belts and 5 water pumps. :D

....sorry, slow day at the office.

Porsche-O-Phile 07-22-2008 11:33 AM

Nice RX7.

(ducks)

Come on guys, you know better.

The 924S really is a "narrow body 944". It has a 944 engine in a 924 body. More horsepower than the base 924 or 931.

BRPORSCHE 07-22-2008 11:44 AM

jeez slow day at the office's guys? i just got out of the pool.

BRPORSCHE 07-22-2008 11:46 AM

actually faster then the base 1987 944. Way to shoot yourself in the foot Porsche.

Steve PH 07-22-2008 12:12 PM

Have you driven it far yet? I found my old 944 a bit rolly polly in the bends and promptly fitted an MO30 rear sway bar, made the world of difference! Koni dampers all round tightened things up nicely as well.

Looks very tidy, mind you with only 18k on it, it should do!

Steve PH 07-22-2008 12:26 PM

Damned double post.

David McLaughlin 07-22-2008 01:13 PM

Nice looking. This week, I saw my first 924 on the road in years. It was white and really clean. Nice simple looking car. I wouldn't mind having one for a DD if the price was right.
