So, the lines aren't long enough? All the terrorists have been captured? Now they'll be booting-up laptops and scanning the drives? Fine. I'll encrypt all my music files in a protected folder. They can search all they want. What are they going to do, waterboard me for the password? Absurd.

'It has been reported however, that the European Parliament has suggested kicking offenders off the Internet.

Urban myth, urban myth, urban myth, urban myth...........

A "big story", affecting almost everyone yet only reported by a single outlet.
Confused jurisdictions-G8 decision with E.U. deciding the punishment.
Impossible to implement.
Vague, unenforcable punishments.

I suspect my illegal Johnny Horton downloads are safe for a while yet.

You've been kicked off the internet, lol....

Ummm... Have we completely dispensed with just-cause, or are we only part-way there?
