I think there has to be something about this particular guy that the cops felt made him a public threat. I wouldn't put it past him to talk his way into more trouble with the judge. Like I said, I sneak around my yard (2+ acres) and shoot stuff all the time. The next door neighbor is more of a threat than I am with his golf balls and his 9 iron.
