price looks right to me actually. If you bought it for $10K and it needs paint, it's automatically a $15K car, which is quite a lot for a 74. You'd be up $17K by the time you redid the front seats and took care of all the little stuff that is going to pop up. True, you'd have a beautiful car at that point, so if you love the narrow body look, it would be a good long term investment.

Hmmm. I guess I've been out of the mid-year pricing trends loop for a while. Not too long ago, a pre-galv. mid-year 2.7 with 136k mi. that needs paint, and no mention of common engine/case issue being addressed, would have already been well over-priced at this car's current bid of $9600. At first glance, it does look like a straight clean car though.

If you are seriously considering it, you might ask for:
pics of dash w/ dash mat removed.
pics of engine bay (top & bottom).
pics of front trunk/battery box (carpet removed).
etc., etc.

Also, any/all service records?
Any evidence/records of the case being time-certed?
