AutoCAD file help
I have a couple of .ipt and .idw files that I would like to use/modify in AutoCAD 2004. I am at a loss as to why AutoCAD cannot read them into the software. As I understand the situation, these are AutoCAD native file formats. Is there a freeware source that can convert into a .dwg format?
thanks, Jim S. |

Have you tried using the restore option to import the drawing? Also you might try inserting it into an existing drawing. Sorry I could not be more help. I have never had this issue and I do not work in 3D. I hope I helped a little with the link. |
AutoCad? F-That! Use Microstation!

Thanks!

Yeah, I like the Beta tapes better than the VHS and 8 Tracks better than cassettes but the rest of the world told me the other was better.

These are Autocad Inventor files. I could import them into SolidWorks, but I could not export anything useful to you in AutoCad.

I use Inventor 2008 if you need some files converted.
