Fastest "Factory Production Car"
 

Simple Rules for Factory Production Bench Race.

Car must be mass produced, 500+ cars a year.
Only mods from "Factory Stock" are tire pressure and a tank of 100 octane gas.
Car must be 50 state street legal/licensed.
Total time for 10 consecutive laps at any major road race track of 1 mile or more.

Whats your vote for the fastest road race production car?

Nissan GT-R. Just kidding. I'd vote for the Pagani Zonda F, but I don't know if they make 500 per year.

Is the GT2 faster/quicker than the Carrera GT?

My guess, knowing it was pretty much any car I wasn't driving, was either the Carrera GT or the Enzo/Maserati MC12.

Actually, keeping the minimum of 500 in mind, it might be the new C6 Corvette ZR1.

I was at the Doc's office and he had the R&T that compared the Vette, Viper, GT-R, and GT2

GT2 had the highest top speed (non of the other cars touched 200) however one of the other cars had the fastest lap time... don't remeber which... either the Viper ot the GT-R.
