Mtn run today 911 + Honda ITR

Went on a mtn run today with buddy who has a Real deal JDM 96 Honda (not Acura) Integra Type R. He's had the car for almost two years and just now got it registered and ready for the streets here. Mugen wheels, suspension, wing and fujitsubo exhaust. It's crazy seeing him on the "wrong" side of the car but I will say that car handles AMAZING and is a blast up there. One of the best fwd cars ever made period. He is a capable driver and could take down A LOT of stuff up there.

Saw some nice 356's but only one pic of a gray one turned out.

We met up and cruised to the north GA mtns for a nice afternoon and then the bottom dropped out. No rain predicted but in the summertime in the South, you never know. I stayed dry even with the top off.

Very cool, I know a couple of guys with JDM cars one with a Toyota Soarer and another with a Mazda Cosmo. It is weird seeing a driver on the wrong side.

I hope you can make it out to the Dragon in Nov. BTW another Targas owner without a top came out the first year and it was cold but he survived.

I'm going to try and make it. Sweatshirts and blankets. I just hope it doesn't rain/snow. When I go to use the heat, the lines under the dash get hot as hell and smoke a little bit. Have to fix that issue before I try and use it up there.

Nice cars. I noticed some strange things, though:

1- The Honda is a right side drive, why is that?
2- The 911 has different plates in front and back, and the front looks like a euro plate.
3- The honda has no front plate, so I assume only rear plate is mandatory in Ga, but then I don`t understand why the 911 has two different plates...

Sorry if I only look at details like that...

As stated its JDM- not that that matters too much because they produce left and right hand drives for their own roads. We get JDM cars for the NZ market and they're always RHD but you can grey import LHD cars.

In Japan, the steering wheel is on the right(JDM, Japan Domestic Market) On the Integras, they designed them all to be left hand drive, and made the changes for the domestic market, rather than visa versa.

The 911 looks so boss with the Duetschland plate on the front would be my guess

Gawd...the 356 coupe with beehive tail lights...Gorgeous! Yeah, I know...I had a 72S, a car some lust after...but that single grille 356 coupe? Once again...Gorgeous! Damn...to be 40 years younger...

I mean, look at the straight reflection in the pic...whoever restored this car did a damned fine job!

1. The Honda is front Japan. Here they are left hand drive Acuras. There they are right hand drive Hondas. He has one from "there".
2. Euro plate on front is just for looks. I like it. Would you expect a matching euro plate in the rear?
3. Only rear plate is mandatory.
