Solar Power Options

As some of you might now, I'm building a new house and have opted for a lot of "envorinmentally concious options" in the process.

On the subject of solar power (for electricity - we already are going to install H20 + pool heater and the perimeter and architectural lighting will be solar based, we are having solar tubes intalled, +++) we have not found an option that makes economical sense yet (even after the government rebates).

I came accross this option which is a long term lease on panels and they purportedly guarantee the system for performance and do the maintenance.

Has anyone had any experience with Citizens ReNu? Comments are appreciated.

Thanks !
