I've searched to find a link to a site in a workbench or shelving thread and no can find:

Website of company that makes metal T, L, etc. connectors for 2x4s and ? - clever system.

Anybody? :eek:

+1 for Simpson Strong Tie. Pretty much the industry standard.

Actually I think there's another site as well that I'm remembering - more of an erector set approach (metal connectors) rather than clearly defined projects as on the above site.

Agreed, Simpson Strong Tie IS the industry standard. There's not much of an alternative unless you are going for an architectural look.
