I thought that was some sort of mandate that all cars made after a certain date had to have TPMS systems?

The wife's old SRX had TPMS. It was nice because any time she wondered, she could simply look at the menu. Of course, I don't tolerate tires that leak, so it's rarely an issue. Honestly, it's not worth the risk when my family is in the car.

I don't believe my wife even knows how. I know for a fact she never checks the oil.

I've shown her but it was like deer in headlights. I check it for her.

About 2 weeks ago when the computer told her to do it...

my wife repeats her car mantra;

"key goes in, gas goes in"

it ends there. i mean she knows how, except i am so friggen dependable, she doesnt even think about it. she may forget the "gas goes in" part soon too. i keep her car filled for the most part.
